My Library is your personal collection of saved judgments, and Research is a focused question-and-answer mode that analyses the full text of one judgment — different from Legal Research chat, which searches across the whole database.
On any judgment's detail page, click Add to Library. Your saved judgments live in My Library, where each item has Research and Remove actions.
Click Research on a library item to open a chat against that judgment alone. Ask anything the full text can answer: "What was the ratio on prescription?", "How did the court distinguish the earlier SCA authority?", "Summarise the minority judgment." Answers stream in and your question history for that judgment is kept during your session.
You don't have to save a case first. The Research button on any judgment detail page opens the same question-and-answer mode as a temporary session — ideal for quickly interrogating a case you're only passing through. If it turns out to matter, add it to your library afterwards.
On the Paralegal plan these Research features are not included; you'll be offered an upgrade when you try to use them. See the pricing page to compare plans.
